is the brainchild of Twin designers Kym and Alexis McClay, who live the exciting life of up and coming Los Angeles designers.
The Birth of Naven Apparel began with the creative minds of Twin designers Kymberley and Alexis McClay in 2007. The line took its form when the twins put their fashion ideals into a tangible form and introduced the high end women’s line into the Los Angeles fashion scene. Though Naven finds its roots in Los Angeles, the line embodies touches of European influences stemming from the Twins background. Naven encompasses the sophistication of European high-society lifestyle as well as the American value of comfort. The line highlights the beauty and elegance of the female silhouette through flattering fits while portraying empowerment and energy through bold colors, flowing silks, and an edgy take on the classic form. Naven holds true to the highest standard of quality through the use of imported silks, Italian knits, cashmeres and gold fixtures. Naven’s twist on sophistication and personalized touch separated the line from its competitors and will leave its mark in women high end fashion.
LNA
was founded in the summer of 2007 by California natives, Lauren Alexander and April Leight. It started with the simple idea of creating the perfect men’s tee for women.
LNA began as a basic T-shirt line that focused on fit, color, and the perfect cotton. That Summer, the first collection launched at Barneys New York, Madison, and Henri Bendel. After receiving press in magazines such as Vogue and Nylon, along with a celebrity fan base that included Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton, Alexander and Leight decided that it was time to expand the line. “It was a natural progression for us”, says Leight. “Our idea behind the line has always been to create perfect basics with some edge”, says Alexander.
With a collection that now includes everything from Lace Tee’s to their signature Zipper Legging, LNA will always have their initial goal in mind: designing wardrobe staples with a twist. “Our focus is always finding a new way to put our own spin on basics. Every season comes new inspiration and a new twist”.
